Transforming an under-performing entrance space for London store Heals to deliver better commercial results
Discussing objectives with the client and talking with customers, we were able to really understand the challenge; customers may feel that high quality design is beyond their financial reach and it can lead to an intimidating experience.
With this in mind, we set about creating a welcoming space that showcased smaller affordable impulse buys alongside larger more considered purchases to suit a range of budgets.
This allows the customer to experience a more inviting environment and interact with the products in a relaxed way, from the bespoke home-scent room to labels that highlight the stories about the real people behind the product.
The addition of a unique concierge style desk in the entrance space creates a feeling of welcome and ensures help is always on hand.
For Heals, this means an environment that echoes their brand, brings in new customers and provides the flexibility to change the format quickly through modular display units and foldaway walls.
“Working with wearesdi was refreshing. They brought creativity and credibility that impressed all layers of the company from the start of the project to the final installation. The result we have is going to make a huge difference to both the customer experience but also the commercial return we get from the space.”
