wearesdi sustainable policy launch

We’ve been working behind the scenes on our ‘sustainable policy’ and are pleased to launch today to coincide with this years ‘World Earth Day’.

We have committed to reducing our carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 inline with the Governments ambitious zero-carbon targets by 2050.

As a supplier to the retail industry we have a huge responsibility to act now and become more accountable for our sustainable footprint. We have made some key internal and external changes which help this process.

Intelligent Design

Its starts with design. As part of our commitment to sustainable manufacture, we provide clients the tools and optionality to make informed decisions on materials for display and environments as well as cost and longevity implications. We ask the right questions and provide material guides at the start of each project. Just one of the USP’s of working with wearesdi.

Inspiring sustainable choices

We have pledged to reduce our carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. This involves making a number of changes to our processes. For anything else we will be offsetting through official means. We have also appointed a sustainable team headed up by Oliver Lewis and ensure monthly meetings to check our ratings so we can stay on top of things.

Sustainable manufacture

As a large manufacturer, we understand materials and their origins and we actively help clients make more sustainable choices. We even help our carbon footprint by reducing packaging for transportation to store. Its all these little things which come together to make a huge impact.

We’re not perfect but we are taking all the right steps to get us closer!
