College Hospitality at Speed

Working in partnership with Servest, Cardinal Newman College needed a new retail & catering space to meet the needs of its diverse student audience. The ambition was to attract students, encouraging them to stay on campus and connect with the college community. We designed a contemporary and operationally streamlined experience which includes a coffee shop, retail space and pizza/deli area.

It also needed to be a practical working environment so use of our expertise in hospitability to inform operationally optimised layout planning, food grade fittings specifications and the selection of suitable materials to cope in the high traffic setting was priority.

In close partnership with Servest, the project sponsor, our expert design team were able to make decisions quickly, and working closely with our production and installation teams meant we were able to ensure everything was completed within the summer holidays ready for the new Autumn term.
