Our design led UK-based 90,000 sqft manufacture facility sets us apart from traditional retail agencies who use ‘partners’ to source manufacture. We have experienced huge growth over the last 2 years, and we are showing no signs of slowing down. To keep up with demand we continue to invest in our factory in terms of new equipment and the implementation of a new mezzanine floor to increase production capacity and floor space.
New equipment
Our new manufacturing equipment allows us to produce more efficiently, at reduced costs and with reduced lead times. Our £400,000 investment is passed directly to our customers across a cost per item. New machines include the TRUMPH Turret Punch Press which allows us to cut steel sheets faster and the SALVAGNINI panel bender which folds sheet steel faster. Further investments in 2022 will include the new Amada Laser & feed tower.
Increased production capacity
We have also increased our labour capacity and have introduced shift patterns. Night capacity ensures the factory keeps moving 24 hours, reducing our lead times. We have doubled the size of our production assembly area with the introduction of a mezzanine floor, (10% facility increase) to deliver a greater output, faster.
Wearesdi work with multiple substrates and take complete ownership of every project. Our large facility has a dry build area which allows the space to be viewed before it goes live in store.
