OUR STORY

Established in 1979

Our strategy has always been to stay focussed on clients’ needs, and we have always adapted our business to accommodate. Right from day one.

Our story began with Andre Elshout, our Founder, who started producing newspapers in his local area. When selling them to local shops, he noticed that they didn’t have anything to display the papers on. He saw an opportunity to meet the need of his customers, developed a newspaper stand, sold them to the local shops, and improved sales of the paper.

This then led to a pivot in his focus. Seeing the gap in the market as a business opportunity to make retail displays, in 1979 he set up Vivid Retail, as we were known then.

Over 40 years later, that entrepreneurial spirit together, with a willingness to adapt and evolve, is still what drives our business forward today.
